Freeland Electric recently had the pleasure of completing a major sports lighting upgrade for Queen Anne’s County High School, home of the Lions. The outdoor playing field, which serves as a central hub for the school’s athletic programs and community events, was in need of a modern solution. The outdated lighting system had become inefficient, costly, and less reliable, which prompted the school to look for a more sustainable and high-performing option.
Freeland Electric stepped in to replace the old lights with state-of-the-art LED fixtures, drastically improving visibility while reducing energy consumption. The new LED lights not only enhance the playing experience for athletes but also create a brighter and safer environment for spectators during evening events. With their advanced technology, these lights offer better precision, are more eco-friendly, and require less maintenance than traditional systems, making them a smart investment for Queen Anne's County High.
The school’s athletic program can now shine brighter—literally. This upgrade aligns with Queen Anne's commitment to excellence both on and off the field, and Freeland Electric is proud to have played a role in supporting the next generation of athletes. Whether it’s Friday night football or track and field meets, the Lions now have a field worthy of their best performances.
